This unique running festival offers the full package of running, tourism and lifestyle experiences. It’s not everyday that you get to run through world famous gardens, historic homesteads, international golf resorts and of course, some of the most famous wineries in Australia. Mix that with a huge selection of races, friendly country race crew, loads of prizes and you have an event not to be missed.

The race has been conceptualised and organised by Paul and Hanne Humphreys of H Events. Both Paul and Hanne have a passion for sport and fitness and are both keen runners. After many years of organising sporting events for charities, club and businesses Paul and Hanne are now committed full time to organising a series of races that feature the beauty and diversity of the Hunter Valley. 

The Lawler Partners Winery Running Festival idea was concieved after reading about a similar event in France. Paul and Hanne hope to build this event into a 'must do' running festival in Australia. They feel they have the race format, location and community support to achieve just that!
